A question I’ve been asked a lot recently is whether I’ll be taking a sackfull of weather jars with me to Japan so I can make some collections for the weatherproject.

As yet I haven’t really decided what I’ll be doing for the weatherproject whilst I’m out there. I’ll almost certainly be taking a couple of jars with me - whether to make collections myself or to pass on to unsuspecting bystanders - but I’ve not yet had any ideas for doing anything special.

The Japanese people I have been talking to over here seem to be of the general opinion that the heat in July is way too much even for them to find comfortable. I’m a red-head: I’m going to fry!

Japan is about to get into the rainy season in the next few weeks. I believe that you don’t care about it because you are British!
